Presented by Sanskriti Suomi for Vasantotsav 2026, Sakhii Sakhiam is an original dance and music production created to celebrate the strength, spirit, and solidarity of women. The production brings together Indian classical artists from both North and South Indian traditions, weaving their styles into a unified storytelling experience.
Through stories of women experiencing longing, joy, anger, betrayal, courage and self-discovery, Sakhii Sakhiam highlights the power of sisterhood-women supporting, challenging, uplifting, and growing with one another. The production showcases the universal message that women rise higher when they rise together.
